We've uploaded a few addtional clips to Cinevate's "video university" section. You'll find a mattebox and rails setup section as well as the latest little clip on setup of the DSC labs Ambi 2 rear illuminated chart system. This is what we're using in the Brevis35 research and development program to evaluate/test new products, lens tests, camera tests etc. This last clip was shot on the HPX500 using the assorted lights etc we've collected over the last few months so both video and audio quality is up a few notches. On Monday we'll fire up the test we shot today on optimizing image sharpness using aperture settings on both the 35mm lens, and video camera. This test used the XH-A1 and we demonstrate a rather tall claim...that the bare camera has more chromatic aberration than the same setup using the Brevis flip. Like the light loss discussion, this one should spark some interesting discussion!
