latest accessories

[Guest]

Ordering a new DVX100A this week. What is the latest news on accessories.
I'll be looking for zoom control, matte box, spare batteries & flip out screen shade.
Not sure if I need the anamorphic adapter yet but I'd like the matte box to accomodate it when I get it.
Don't want to be cheap, I need good reliable gear. But I don't need to spend $2200 on a matte box either!
Thanks all.

Re: latest accessories

Mattebox right now for solid performance I would suggest the Cavision 4x4 or the soft Matteblox, they are the 2 that work well. The Formatte box may be good, I am waiting for an adapter for mine to see.

Varizoom has a new DVX zoom control that has good reviews, and 16x9 makes a screen shade that I dont leave home without.

And for batteries, we have member batteries here (you can buy from the banner at the bottom of the page) that offer the best bang for the buck.
