I'm going to need a solid white background for talking head shots. I'm considering picking one of these up but I'm not sure this will be so good for video as they're made to have strobes flashing on the inside.

Do you think if I blast enough continuous light into each side I'll be ok? I hope it won't go yellow on me...

Absolutely. I have two, the smaller one and the bigger one. I'm going to be selling the smaller one on ebay shortly because I found I needed the bigger one more often than not.
