Last Audio Question

I have decided on the Audio Technica 4043a and Rycote Jammer with a decent shockmount. NOW, all I need to order is cables. But, I don't know which brand and which length. I know it will depend on how I use the camera but what is the normal length for cables to start out? Which is the must have length cable in your sound kit?

If MattinSTL is still making cables, you should order from him. You'll get better prices and better quality than if you went through a retailer. It does depend on use: is your mic going to be plugged directly into the camera? I'd say a pair of 25' and a pair of 50' would be a start. A lot of folks like to have some 100' too; better to have too much than not enough.
