Last 10 Polaroids

Awesome idea! I'll be taking my pictures next week and when they're up, I'll send you the links!
 
This is a great idea. I can see why they're stopping Polaroids though. No use with digital cameras. Just Polaroids have this essence to them, a grittiness. Works especially well for films. Sucks.
 
i never want my polaroid to be replaced by a digital camera but it seems its inevitable now.

i recently drove up the west coast (from la to seattle and everywhere in between) for 3 weeks. and while my friends were all carrying around their lil cybershots or nikon d40s i carried my polaroid around everywhere.

now they all are all asking for copies of the polaroid with all of us standing in front of the golden gate and the space needle etc etc.

it still is funny to ask someone to take a picture of you and then hand them a polaroid.

i always see a smile when they hand it back to me though.

i am sad to see polaroids go...time to get my hands on as many ten packs as i can before they are alllll gone.
 
Thanks alot, i'm glad you all like the idea. I am having some trouble getting the website up though. I have no knowledge what so ever of how to put a website up. I just designed it but I don't know how to upload it. Any help would be awesome. and feel free to send your pictures to me whenever you want!

I'm really ecstatic about everyone's excitement for this. I'm spending this summer applying to film schools and I really want this web site to be part of my portfolio. Also today is my birthday, I turn 19 today so if you guys could do me an awesome birthday favor and pass this on to anyone you think would be interesting and participate if you would like. Again, thank you so so much!
 
I posted a bulletin on myspace about it. I have a lot of friends who are into photography as I am, so hopefully they'll aprticipate. I don't have a camera, but I'm definitely going to get one for this. I've found them at thrift stores for a couple of dollars, so it shouldn't be difficult to find one.
