Large Follow Focus Gears

I'll be ordering a Gini rig here in a few weeks and after some research it appears that his follow focus has some issues with smaller lenses (hits the camera body when you try and pull it back). The issue is resolved by titling it out, and by using gears that have a good amount of "height" to them. The snap gears from Indisystems look about right, but I'm concerned about quality. Can anyone suggest a similar set of gears (easily movable between lenses would be great, I've got the time)?

Edit: The D|Gear from Jag 35 looks to be exactly what I need. Anyone had any issues with those screws scratching your lens?

I use D|Gears on all my lenses. The screws don't scratch the lens; they're made of plastic, not metal. Only the "top" screw that constricts the gear is metal. The D|Gears are fine if you leave one on each lens. That is, in fact, how they were designed to be used because it is difficult to unscrew the ring, change the feet, slide it back onto the lens, ensuring the top screw won't run into the follow focus, and then tighten it again.

I am looking into a better solution, though - particularly because I will be renting my lenses soon, and I don't like how flimsy these gears can be and how that top screw can get in the way.

For the price, though, D|Gears are fine. One thing I do like about them is their diameter. I have a couple lenses with very short focus throw, so the effectively increased circumference of the focus ring enables me to really refine focus. This is somewhat of a problem, though, with my Nikon 50mm 1.4, as I have to turn my follow focus about 420 degrees to pull from macro to infinity.

At 25 each if you buy three, it's not bad at all, and probably a decent investment. Which version Nikon do you have? I'm nabbing the 28, 50, and 85 Nikkor AIs.

Yea, I bought more gears than I had lenses at the time, so I could take advantage of the better deal, knowing I'd acquire more lenses soon.

I have

Nikkor 20mm f/3.5 AI
Nikon Series E 28mm f/2.8
Nikkor 35mm f/2 AI-s
Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 AI
Nikon 85mm f/1.8 AF-D
Nikon 105mm f/2.5
