Laptop suited to editing in Premiere and After Effects??

Ok.. so the words 'laptop' and 'editing' tend not to fit so comfortably together... but can they? At the moment i'm looking at the 'SONY VAIO VGN-AR51SU', but I'm not sure, and the price is a little out of my league... can anyone advise?..

I've edited all my movies (so far) on my Laptop. You can check out the one in my link if you want.
Toshiba 1.6Ghz, 2 GB RAM. And I'm editing in HD. Worked pretty well. You need the extra RAM though.

Just bought an iMac.
