laptop purchase

Hello,
I'm trying to decide on a laptop that will work well with avid xpress pro and the hvx. I noticed acer has one with an hd 20 inch screen. Has anyone used this or another laptop with an hd screen. The laptop only had a 5400 hard drive. Is that fast enough to direct record from the camera? Thanks
 
You could always try a Sager laptop. They have some pretty good configurations. Try pctorque.com if you wanna check some out. they have a good forum setup for laptops too.
