Helllo i want to buy a laptop for doing some edit. I normally use my desktop, but at times i am out and i work doing mainly some assembly and selecion of footage, finishing the job in my laptop
For this reason, i want to have a samll laptop, maximum 14" and my budget is around 1000 euro
I have found this https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-UX430...TF8&qid=1505162104&sr=8-1&keywords=asus+ux430 which to me seems good. I have been warned about the U cpu
But i am not really going to do color, or rendering..a part tha one i need to go on with job
My footage now is all 2k from a gh3
What you think?is that cpu so bad?
thanks

It's probably fine as long as you dont mind waiting for everything to process and maybe having to run everything at half res. I wouldn't buy anything until you check reviews first on notebookcheck.net. Most budget (and even nicer) windows laptops have horrible TN displays that look different depending how you look at them. And personally I'd go for a dedicated graphics card, at least a gtx 1050. If you absolutely need to just be thin and light and not fast at all then just buy something with newer hardware that you like the look of.

I would suggest an i7 HQ processor and nVidia 9xx series or 10xx series graphics. The nVidia 960m would probably be fine for your needs which puts you into last year's models and should fit your price range.
