Land of the Dead - Unrated Director's Cut

Oh crap, how much more disgusting can it get?
This definetly was one of the best movies of the year.

Romero is a frickin' genius...I think this was his best film. I love how he always manages to work in some humor...

Good I get another chance to see it in the theatre. I wonder why there doing this.
Thats kind of odd.

Romero is a terrible filmmaker. His legend os for birthing one of the cooler sub-genres and creating one of the best cult-classics ever.

Land of the Dead was such a let-down. A major disapointment. Romero could have catapulted the genre even further but instead almost killed the very genre he created. Will I get the DVD? Yeah; I'm a Zombie junkie

I think DAY is his best film.

I have the same setiments as John. It could have gone places that we hadn't even thought of yet. (Space? Just kidding.)

I'll buy it, I'll watch it, and damn it, I will try to like it more!

John, you have to be kidding. Day is by far the worst of the three originals. Yeah, I own it, but if I'm going to watch a Romero zombie flick, Day never seems to make it to my dvd player. I like the beginning and last act, but man do you have to sit through a LOT of boring/bad dialogue to get to the good stuff. Night has the great confined mood, Dawn has the great social satire, and Day tries to combine the two with so-so results. As for Land, I liked it because it's zombie flick, but I was ultimately let down. A twenty year wait for this? Lucas anyone?

Day of the Dead is not only Romero's worst Dead movie but just an awful piece of crap. Talk about dull, wooden, badly acted, and very poorly shot.

I don't think Romero is a genius or as deep as his rabid fans make him out to be, but I do like some of his films. Land was enjoyable and had some great sequences. It was a little short or too simple for me, but it was in a whole different league than DAY. Day could have been entered into the DVX Zombie contest and lost. Ick.

IMHO.

Very curious to see the unrated Land. Probably not too much different, though.
