LaCie Two-Big Drive SATA

I am not a big fan of LaCie, but this product does look good, and it is a SATA II Drive. I am using FCP 5.1.1. I was going for a G-Raid, but was wondering if this drive is faster.

My question is how would this drive hook up to my G4 Powerbook. I have a PCMCIA Card Slot, and it comes with SATA II PCI-X Card. Can this work with my setup.

PCMCIA and PCI-X are not the same one is external one is internal. But they do make eSATA II cards for the PCMCIA Slot as long as it is a full size slot (the 3/4 size won't be out for a month or so)

Does it work for Mac though? I have a 2 year old powerbook, so I think it is the full size.
