Kudos to PSC

Send my Alphamix in last week to fix a few things. My aux power outlets were dead (I bought it used), it needed a clean-up, and I had (what I thought was) noise on an ISO out (turned out to be a bad cable, my bad. I also had a beta cable with a bad channel on the confidence return so I sent that as well. Ron at PSC got the mixer thursday night. By friday early afternoon, he had called me to say that the power circuit was fried, but since it was the first gen and PSC had improved the circuit board with internal, resettable fuses (breakers), he would upgrade to the current configuration. He cleaned up the unit, included behind the benzel of the display, fixed the beta cable, repaired and upgraded the power circuit, and called with a total price of $90.00. By friday night, my mixer was on it's way back to Atlanta, and I recieved it today (after missing the fedex guy yesterday). Total amount spend to ship to PSC, repair, and ship it back, right at $160 and total turn around time was less than a week.

I can't say enough good things about the friendly service I have gotten from PSC. Every time I have called they were very professional, and guided me thru the problem (all of them operator error).

It saddened me that they are not currently making a mixer to compete directly with SD and I'm sure SD's customer support is top notch as well. But I just wanted to let anyone out who is considering a PSC product that you will be well taken care of after the sale. And remember this is a mixer built in 2003 and bought used.

Ron is a great guy and absolutely takes care of his customers.

I've owned a few clunkers from PSC over the years but also a few great products from him.

That's what customer service is supposed to be like from every vendor. Too bad that it's the exception and not the rule.
