KSSM hot shoe adaptor problem

sometimes i have to shoot with the mic mounted to camera. I bought the KSSM with adaptor but the adaptor when properly tightened onto the KSSM does not match up with the hot shoe. It need another 1/4 revolution in order to line up.


Do adaptors come in various sizes?

I dont know if this post makes sense...ugh

There are 2 threaded rings on the adapter... the bottom one tightens DOWN to the hotshoe to secure the whole thing to the camera and the top one tightens UP to hold the KSSM in the chosen orientation.

You don't thread it all the way on. Leave some room to turn and lock the KSSM where you want it.
