Kona LH and Film

need some help please. New to HD and Film, interested in purchasing the Kona LH card for our power mac G5 and FCP. What is involved in editing film in FCP? Starting from a beginner level, never done it before and there is the possibility of that sort of work coming in to our company. Is the Kona LH card the right card?
 
Both, will I be able to edit 2K/4K on a Kona LH? I mainly work in broadcast (SD) and do a few small music videos. Recently one of my partners asked if we'd be able to handle film post production. Before this question I was planning on getting the Kona LH for its SD & HD capabilities. We're also purchasing an HVX200 PAL version (as soon as it launches) - so I thought it would be a great card to start playing with HD. Any advice?
 
I'd take a look at the Kona 2 if you haven't already. Especially since you're working in SD and the LH doesn't offer the ability to up-convert.

I need the analog SD abilities of the kona LH...do alot of broadcast work (that evil thing called BETA SP).
