Komodo is Officially On Sale

sure but how many high-production-value Hollywood movies have flopped because they sucked. then you have something like blair witch project which became an institution. or the original texas chainsaw massacre, shot on a limited supply of 16mm film, some of the scenes lit only by car headlights, some filmed with a Nikon photo lens

--> def, but there was no IQ saturation back then. I'm talking about now, 2022, after being extremely spoiled and having inexpensive high-quality tools provided to really talented people who've enlightened.

--> on the other hand, I am more interested in watching 400 TikTok videos per day than anything else, so it's all moot, I suppose.

right, and as good as cell phone video has gotten (not that all TikTokers have the latest cell phones anyway), they still can't compete on the finer points of IQ that contribute to a preference for RED

again, I'm not saying that IQ doesn't matter. but if all I cared about were IQ, I'd be shooting on film. there are so many other features and design elements that go into getting the shot. it's a complex formula. for some, a Komodo or other RED may totally hit the sweet spot in that formula
