one 400'(11 minutes) mag of kodak 7285 film stock = approx. $99 w/ student discount!

i miss the box of five 1hr panasonic 63min mq dv tapes. i may have to come back to dv on a few projects.

7285 is not cheap, and it's not cheap to process either. Negative film is usually less expensive to process than reversal...

Man, I want to give film a try. Anyone want to buy me an Arricam 416?

I gotz some Super8 cameras fo' sale. :) ...and a Beaulieu R-16... and a Canon Scoopic... and one of those Russian made manual 16mm cameras (name escapes me and it's in a box inside a box underneath boxes...).

Yes, three lens turret. Actually TWO three-lens turrets, because the viewfinder eyepieces are on their own interconnected three-lens turret... plus I've got all sorts of goodies for it too, including the 400' mag and an electric motor...

thanks the link!

how long is one sec in feet? (1 feet is about 0.3 meter, am I right?)

i actually have to send my reversal off to IL to get processed; b/c no one does it here in dallas. thanks to my dp; she has a good contact out in IL.

We were spoiled in school... cheap film, free in-house b/w reversal processing
and $5/400ft for color reversal. Needless to say, not a whole lot of negative
stock was shot but reversal does teach you to expose properly.
