Now this obviously isnt the BEST GG out there but if you are lucky enough to get a piece of KodaCel film/plastic and some good ole waxpaper, wow this stuff works really well as a combined GG.
Then I slapped two plastic condensers from an old German made slide editor (free!!!!) and voila! I have this nice razor sharp hotspot free image from my Minolta MD lens!!!!
Im thinking about putting the Bellows in my personal collection and buying an old Minolta camera for the lens flange ($7)
I was actually thinking of building two adapters.
One for lightweight design (run and guy shooting) out of PVC
And another for tripod/dolly use.
The second design, I was wondering about basing it on an OLD camera, like the westerns. I have a neighbor who happens to be a master carpenter and Im sure if I get the designs right he could build me a housing for this contraption.
The thing Im thinking is that instead of using a rail system what if the camcorder (like a GS300) fit inside the housing instead of outside it???
No need for rails just a good solid mount for the tripod plate and off you go.
Im thinking a sturdy but lightweight wood. Painted flat black on the inside and out, with holders like the dividers in a file cabinet for the condensers and GG.
The guys a genius maybe he can help me out.
Ill let you know soon how things are going.
Oh yeah I bought two more condensers to use in the PVC version for TWO DOLLARS!!!!
Oh yeah I got a 50mm Minolta MD 1.7f for 10 BUCKS!! YAY!!
Peace
Illumination
