Does anyone here have experience selling a 1-2 hour doc to a cable channel or other broadcast outlet? I am working on a doc and I have a few meetings coming up to pitch/sell the project for broadcast and I'm curious as to the range of what cable channels are paying? Also, what are the standard terms? Exclusive broadcast rights? Length of time of contract? I am a professional Producer/Director but I have never "sold" a project that was mine before. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
