we are just starting out in business (UK) and at the moment cant afford to purchase kit so our only option once we start getting bigger jobs is to rent.
Obviously in most cases you need to provide you own insurance when you rent kit but as we don't have any company insurance (we don't own kit/premises/anything) we will need to get short term cover for the duration of the shoot.
I have rang around in the past to insurance brokers to get quotes on some kit and most of them didn't do short term or were ridiculously expensive.
Does anyone (UK) have a particular broker that they use or any other ways of insuring kit for short periods of time...?
