Why does it look like i'm seeing more of my varicam's tonal range when I record with the DNxHD Codec vs Apple ProRes? Is there a gamma thing going on with the ProRes Codec.. Trying to figure out which codec will give me the most information out of the HD-SDI before a wedding I have to film saturday. My only options with the KiProMini recorder are Apple or AVID. I can cut either codec fine on my mac.
