Kinos in tight spaces

What are your strategies for controlling fluorescent banks like Kinos in small rooms? The smaller the room, the bigger the likelihood of there being wall shadows. The closer the lights to the actors, the harsher the shadows. In small spaces, cutters and flags aren't always practical.

What are your go-to accessories for small-area light control?

I've gone as far as to tape a bank to a wall...I even screwed it into a wall for a shoot a couple months ago.

You can use scissor clamps if you have drop-tile ceilings.

Paper tape around the kino bulb to make a little barndoor, or just tape right on the kino to make little toppers and bottomers. Even siders too.

Best thing about this, is that it won't set on fire! Wooo!
