Hi guys I have been shooting a few videoclips lately and definitely wanna improve the results. One of my customers who had experience on more professional sets mentioned the use of a round lamp for close up shots of faces. I found a few posts about do it yourself ones. I was wondering if anyone have experience with the one made by Kinoflo? Its ac powered and can be mounted on the camera lense. I m trying to figure if it could help me, considering the price tag.I’m skeptical since its only so little wattage.
I’m also wondering if it could be used for interview work.
Any input on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

I love the concept of a ring light, but have no experience with one. Anyone have any feedback.

I wonder if Richard with cool lights has any plans to make one. I would love to see one that uses the Panny batteries like my camera/monitor combo.
