Kino on the HVX

First time looking at the Kino Flo ring light and was wondering if it would fit onto the HVX. Also any input on how well this light works?

Looks like you'll need a step-down ring in order to get it to fit snug on the lens...

Getting a ring light is good for close contact with your subject.. If your subject is far away (over 6') and you have a lot of other light sources, it will pretty much just provide a minimal amount of fill.. It's dimmable which is a really great feature... Its all really about what you plan on using it for.. If you can afford to get it along with some other lights, go for it..

Its about the same price, and it is a great light!!

It will be for sit down interviews.... I have a lowell DV light kit. I really like the look of the ring light from what clips I have seen.


What do you think is the better of the two ring lights for a interview setting?
