Kino Flo or Flo light - ?

I want to buy my first light - I'm sick of home depot lamps - I'm having issues though...

Do I want to spend $600 and buy the 4 bank flo light w/ dimmer and bulbs?

Or... do I want to spend the extra $479 and buy the Kino Flo Diva Lite 400 kit ?

Of course who am I kidding, it's not really 479 more, when you throw in the baby plate and bulbs you're looking more like $600 more - but then again, they are Kino Flos and they do come with a case

I could give a crap really, if the same type of flicker free light is pouring out of the flo light just like the kino, then why spend the extra dough?

I'm poor and can't make buying decisions on my own

God save the queen

there is a difference in quality.. you can feel it between the two pretty easily. That said, ive been using the flolights for a couple months now and am completely happy. I got both of them at the intro price for the price it woulda cost me for one kino.

the both use the exact same bulbs.

Hi Jarred,

Which lamps did you get - 3200k or 5200k and what is the colour temp like?

Was also looking at these www.go-easylighting.com - possibly just the fixtures to hook up to kino flo ballasts I already have, but the flolight looks like a better full-package price.

Cheers,
Dale
