King Kong Redux Part Nine

I've been watching the production diaries every week. I can't wait for this thing to come out. Full lenght trailer due on Monday right?
 
Yup, just checked kongisking.net. Trailer due on Monday. I think I saw something about it being during Fear Factor in the US. I'll just wait for the online version, which will probably be up minutes after the TV release. The site will probably be swamped.
 
hmm....the cg creatures dont look any better then the stuff in jurassic 2....but its just teaser footage..im sure they will hit a home run with the final stuff.

A two-minute, 30-second teaser trailer. The specific schedule for the airing of the teaser trailer on each of the NBC networks is as follows:

Bravo -- immediately following "West Wing"

Mun2 -- teaser trailer will premiere during the two-hour block of "The Roof."
 
I just saw it. Been checking the site all day.

Looks to be another PJ epic.

Some of the dinosaurs did look rather fake, but I blame that on the quicktime compression.

I can't wait for the final film.
 
The coloring is intriguing; I noticed a similar saturation with THE ISLAND previews. Anyone know what is going on?
 
I've been watching kongisking.net for the past year and really enjoying every minute of it. But I gotta admit I was thorougly underwhelmed by this trailer. Cast seems kind of off and Kong is looking no better than the '98 Mighty Joe Young remake with retread Jurassic Park 1 dinos to fight. Hrm.

The trailer was quite UNDERwhelming.

Didn't quite get the whole event movie thing going, just told a little story really.

Thought the dinos looked pretty bad too, sub JP2/3 and more more donkey kong than King Kong.

Still can't wait to see it though!! :grin:
 
I love Jack Balck and think he is a great talent. I also love Adrain Brody a super great talent. But I also thought this an odd casting decision.
 
Kong isn't that big to begin with. the original black and white king kong was pretty small too.
but this is rather too ape looking- without any added mysticism... except for his ancient aged look on his face.
i can't wait for it. gonna be huge. got that same LOTR look. nice.

Me too... but I think Brody is really annoying, he always looks like he is acting! :shocked:

...and I just can't take Jack Black seriously, not after buying his album.
