In case any of you have missed the announcement, Universal will be releasing a 2-DVD box set of Peter Jackson's production diaries on the making of King Kong. Check out www.kongisking.net to watch the diaries on line. The box set will also include numerous extras including booklets, production artwork, stills, etc. This internet diary is one of the most fascinating "peeks" into the production process of a movie I have ever seen, and I am excited to get my hands on this one! Even if the movie sucks, this will be a DVD every aspiring filmmaker should check out.

An all new cash-in!

Thanks for the link, but I probably stick with the freebies online.

lol, definitely a cash-in. However, it took me forever to watch these things online, waiting for everything to load, etc. Having them available on DVD is a lot more convienient.

I only recently downloaded all the production diaries (missed it somehow earlier :( ) and it was some of the best 3 hours I've had lately. Watched 'em all in a row. Wow... But don't really see the need to get that dvd. I'll have all the extras on King-Kong Collector's edition sometime next year :)

I am planning on making a DVD myself of the diaries once he does the last last one. Currently have all of them taking up space on one of my hard drives. PJ rules.
