Special request for people on the floor. please provide us some information/video/pics about Kineraw, new lights(led, flo) and tilta booth.
Thanks

Thanks Eric!

Eric, do you mind seeing if you can find anything out about Team Tilta? Or if there is a new US based reseller. (Though you might need to stop by)

Also, LanParte is right near Tilta & they have a similar shoulder mount basepalte quick release system. Would love to hear what you think of that compared to your Tilta shoulder rig.

Language barrier aside, could she of tried any less harder in not "selling" and detailing their products?..

My disapointment with it-photovideo.com is the best Tilta product they make is the basepalte. You used to be able to get it from Team Tilta for under $300 shipped, IT only has it as part of a kit for $1,900.

If I don't need all the other accessories, I'm ordering from one of the international resellers & paying the $100 shipping, or ordering a LanParte.

Edit: Looks like you can order a baseplate from Cananda based cameratrend.com for under $400. Still pretty cheap IMHO.

Edit #2: I e-mailed it-photovideo.com & they now have the baseplate for sale individually.

I saw Kineraw in tiny unadorned booth with their two cameras on the edge of the show. Easy to miss. They said they're still workng out issues with American dealers so not available here yet. Their smaller cam is $3k. About the size of an epic.

Thanks for the video refocusedmedia

WTF? I mean. W.T.F!

"Team Tilta" was operating under ground?! Yeah, it was a strange thing they set up (invite, referrals, etc.), but don't act like you didn't know about what was going on.

I have been a big proponent of Tilta ever since I first saw their baseplate & even more since I purchased a baseplate from Team Tilta. But this pisses me off & makes me wonder if I want to buy any more of their products. Why? Because I got connected to Team Tilta directly from Haung & I don't think that can be "under ground."

Timeline:
April 19th 2012, after contacting Tilta via Haung, I get a price quote for a few Tilta products (baseplate, curved arm, follow focus) with shipping direct from China,

Didn't have the immediate need, so I sat on the quote until July...

July 11th 2012, not needing the follow focus I ask for an updated quote (baseplate, curved arm, top handle).

Haung replies:
Lovely to hear from you again. Our pricing has been updated since July 1st. Please contact our US dealer on (e-mail of Ross Kanarek Switronix, Inc.) for more information.

I e-mail Ross & he sends me an invite to Team Tilta.

Unless this is a big language problem, there is no way Team Tilta was operating w/o Tilta knowing about what they were up to. Something happened. But whatever it is, no one is talking about it publicly.
