The very very beginning of the DVD starts out with some whistling.

What is it? I swear I've heard it before.

No, before that. Just whistling over ideographs (Chinese? Japanese?)

Later on, Daryl Hannah whistles it as she walks thru the hospital.

I keep "seeing" an old B&W film when I hear it. But that may just be random synapses firing.

That's the Shaw Scope theme. In old kung-fu movies by the shaw brothers, they show that SB symbol and that's what plays in the background.

It's been in my head ever since I saw the damn movie. Not a day goes by that I don't walk down a hall humming it. :D
