I remember, years ago, there was camcorder that used audio casettes to record video. But it's not recent. Maybe 6-8 years ago.

Yeah I had gotten one for my kids...it was called I think Digital Blue.

Oh Hey, i forgot to add thet Digital Blue also comes with an editing app that actually is very easy to use and has a fun little compositor with efx.
I set up a match frame shot, and my son was actually able to blow his sister up....then she blew him up. Good laughs.
Camera can also be used for a webcam too.
2 compression formats

I saw one at wal-mart it was like 19.99 it has internal memory but no audio I think it was USB, ??? ???
