Kickbacks?

Do any of you offer kickbacks to stores or individuals who find you work?

We're messing around with the idea of offering a 5% kickback to local bridal shops and salons when a client picks up one of our cards from their location and uses the code on it. Of course only if we make a successful sale to the client.

But after coming up with this I realized I really needed a contract with the store/individual just to set the rules of the kickback program. I'm not sure how many would go for signing it and how many would be scared off by it.

Any of you offer anything like that? Anything I might have missed hashing together this concept?
 
I offer 5% referral and 5% producer fee. Producer fee is not like normal Producer but more like they deal with client and I only have to deal with technical issues as Director. Oh yeah and I second not using the 'kickback" term.

Not a bad idea either. Thanks for the info. I could see where a producers fee (or perhaps project managers fee?) might be of interest to some who enjoy the business/organization end of it.
 
We all know it is really as you stated a Project Manager fee, but I have found people not in the industry love being called the Producer.
