Kick-Ass 2

I'm really looking forward to the movie. Kick-Ass was like 1000% more awesome than I thought it was going to be, so I'm expecting Kick-Ass 2 to at the very least match and hopefully exceed my expectations. Jim Carrey looks like he's going to steal the show. But...I didn't think the trailer was all that good.

Same here. FOr the longest time I didn't watch it because it didn't seem very appealing to me. Then I wacthed and was like WOW!! So I'm looking forward to this one.

I don't think the trailers for Kickass ever really gave you a good idea of what the film was like. The trailers seemed like for a PG13 film, something kind of spoofy, and Kickass is all Rated R and pretty dark at times.

Ok let me start by saying the original Kick-Ass is probably in my top 10, with a solid 4.5/5 gold stars. Here's a few thoughts on the sequel.

- Chloe Whatshername was really good, hope to see her in more stuff.
- The fun factor in the fight scenes is not a patch on the first, it just doesn't seem directed very well in those parts.
- camera changed for the worse at the scene where Chloe pulls a gun on little mafia dude (after she hangs onto the car roof scene). Noticed some video-e shots. Ill have to eat my words on other threads if it was shot on film ;)
- Didn't know if Jimm Carrey would mash well in this flick but he did well.
- some characters say geek in jokes which I don't think their characters would say. Examples escape me right now though.

if you liked the first I'd say still check this out in the cinema for sure.

2.85/5
