Hey,
I'm new to keying/GS work so forgive me if I'm missing something.
I'm using Primatte to key out my subject, and the background is a wood (green and browns mostly). I've also got Key Correct Pro on it.
My effects chain is:Misfire, Primatte, Edge Blur, Spill Killers, Light Wrap, Colour Matcher, Looks, Levels, Desaturate, Black Restore, Broadcast Safe.
Primatte/Key Correct are great, but for some reason two things stick out:
1 - The subject looks like they have a reflection of green on the edges of their skin tones. I thought this might be the light wrap but it remains if I turn it off.
2 - The subjects often look like they have a black outline round them, like a cartoon drawing.
In the original footage neither of the above is present. The GS work was done in a studio, great lighting etc so the footage is neutral.
Any ideas what this is and what I can do to fix it? I'm doing all my keying in FCP as it was so useful and I don't know AE too well, but am concerned it will let the side down.
Cheers!,
a x
