I am regularly doing picture montages using premiere pro 2.0 and now I am experiencing a problem that I have never come across before.
Project Settings:
DV NTSC 29.97i
When I import my JPEGs and apply keyframing to them (even a linear pan) after rendered the image is jumpy. I exported as a DV AVI and the DV Avi is jumpy so its not my system running slow or anything. I tried deinterlacing...interlacing consecutive frames....using tiffs....using psds....making sure highest quality preview is selected. It looks this way on the computer montior and my reference monitor.
When I take the exported clip, interpret the footage to play at any other frame rate aside from the default 29.97 it plays as properly (albeit choppy because its I am using odd frame rates in a NTSC timeline) but something lie 30.00 FPS looks very smooth. Whats also odd is that when I re-interprete the footage, premiere doesn't have a red bar to render the video clip (AM I going crazy? don't you have to render if you change to a non-project framerate?)
Any ideas?
Thanks
