KeyFlow Pro verses Kyno? thoughts

Newbie here questioning media management software? I am looking at either KeyFlow Pro or Kyno, I realize both have a 30day trial but figured I would ask for some expert thoughts before taking the plunge.

First I will be the only one using the software (inputted info) - it’s not like I’m using the software to make notes on files that will get passed on to another editor. So maybe these softwares are overkill for my needs and I’m just over thinking a possible solution? I’ve been shooting more stock/footage that could be used for various projects and it would be nice to organize the files at the finder level instead of going into the NLE’s project.

I also happen to be making the jump from Premier to Final Cut to remove Adobe from my system and I’ve been shooting a small doc that has a lot of footage with long takes that I need to go through and most won’t be used. I believe Kyno has the ability to export sections of clips over to FCP so the FCP project doesn’t get overly big. I like that but is it truly necessary for a small doc?

KeyFlow Pro is cheaper and I can get it through the app store (I really like that for updates / piece of mind / clean installs) but I’m questioning wether it truly helps out a one man band or is it primary for multiple editors?

Kyno also works with Premier (although I hope I don’t need to come back) more expensive and is not on the app store.

I’ve search the net, watched Larry Jordon’s preview videos, but still thought I would ask what others thought of these two programs? Any insights would be very helpful.

Thanks,
