Keyboard Cover

i have one for my macbook. absolutely love it. cant imagine editing without it. i reccomend kbcovers

i also have a cover with arabic characters, also high quality and snug fit

Thanks! I think I might take a gamble & give it a shot for the ultrathin Apple keyboard.

I just got a new keyboard at work & am amazed at how clean it is compared to my one at home, so I'd like to keep it that way. And I know it would be a lot easier to clean a cover than the keyboard itself (although possible to do either one). Plus if I get some FCP shotcuts that are easier to find, all the better.

I third the recommendation. I have this for Avid and FCP...keeps the dirt out AND shows you where they keys are. DOUBLE duty!

So to follow up, I did get the cover & it is on my keyboard about 90% of the time.

It is pretty good & if I was new to FCP I'd probably get more use out of it, but oddly it feels easier on the brain for even key commands I already know when I see the "action" I'm doing.

Mostly I keep it on because I much on things all day long & it keep the crumbs out, plus I think it is cool to have a multicolored keyboard w/ a black backbone.

But I do find if I'm typing a longer e-mail or document, I take it off since I can notice the extra effort in key press. Not as much extra work as some of the stiff "standard" keyboards of a few years ago (pre-thin keyboard), but enough to notice a difference.
