Kevin Smith talks behind the Hollywood scene...

That was hilarious!

I saw Kevin Smith speak after a sneak preview of "Clerks" and it was clear from the beginning that he was very funny and a major talent.

That is so funny. It is part of the "An Evening With Kevin Smith", which is wonderful. This story is only bested by his Prince story. You have to see the whole thing. It is great.

I agree. Even if you are not a fan of his films, "An Evening with KS" is funny stuff.

It better be. :evil: I can't stand Kevin Smith's movies but I just ordered "An Evening With Kevin Smith" based on that clip and YOUR PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION.:Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

An Evening with Kevin Smith is interesting, but after watching it you think to yourself that I just watched some fat guy ramble about how lucky he is to have the career her has. I think that the spider story is the best part, but it is worth a view...

I love that dvd.

Regardless of what your opinions of his films maybe he is a very entertaining speaker. Maybe he should host the Oscars. Can't be as bad as the last few hosts.
(I felt Jon Stewart was a humongous letdown)

Looking forward to Evening with Kevin Smith 2: Evening Harder which comes out real soon.

They would need a 5 minute time delay. He is completely incapable of working clean (that is part of what make him so entertaining). :)

I don't think he's incapable of being clean i just think he chooses not to.

Given the opportunity I think he'd surprise alot of people.

Granted it'd probably be alot edgier than past Oscars, but i don't think it'd be anything that violates FCC broadcast guidelines.

Regardless i don't think he'd ever have the opportunity.

I agree. He did several stints on the lame a$$ Tonight Show with Jay Leno that were "TV clean."
 
that's right.

The one in the fish market was hysterical as i recall.

And then there's his flying car skit/short which was TV clean and very funny i thought.
 
I finally got a chance to watch An Evening with Kevin Smith. It was pretty funny. A lot funnier than his movies, imo. I am definitely no fan of his movies but thoroughly enjoyed listening to him talk about them.
 
I can watch An Evening with Kevin Smith quite often without getting sick of it. There's just something about the way he tells the stories that completely slays me. I like it far more than his movies.
