Kessler Reseller Australia

[crot0019]

Hey Guys,

I'm looking to purchase some Kessler gear -- K-Pod and a Hercules head and possibly a slider. The total is around $2K. When I looked at shipping to Australia i found it to be $700. Does anyone know of any australian resellers or another method of importing these items to Australia cheaper than that?

Cheers.

Even if you find a local reseller you'll probably find it's still cheaper to pay the $700 delivery. I've never found anything locally (in a store or online) for less than half as much again as the online price, often closer to double. And you'll probably still need to pay delivery within Australia because few storefront camera businesses provide more than token video support. I made my first online purchase after spending months trying to buy a HVX200 within Austalia. Now I buy everything online. Shipping often costs me more than the product which grates (and makes it hard to compete for rare items on ebay when you're paying an extra $50-100 on the other bidders) yet it is still cheaper than buying locally, if you can find it locally at all. Don't know who's to blame but it is what it is. At least we've been hovering around parity with the US dollar for a while now. I've been getting a lot more for my money for the last year.
