I did a search to see if this was discussed before, and came up with nothing. Anyway I'm just curious if anybody ever seen this, if so.. why wasn't the film makers and such brought up with charges? It was a good film, but how in the hell did they get away with this... it was child pornagraphy, those kids were no way older than 17.

Eventhough it was :banned: in the U.S, it was still filmed in California, just curious to know how they got away with it, and for those who seen it what are your thoughts

This was truly a sick movie, don't know if that's good or bad! The craziest part to me was with The Grandparents... don't wanna say to much about that scene for those who haven't seen it, but that sequence is nutz. Lary Clark has some serious issues...

After watching it don't know how I should of felt about this... My Jaw was just on the ground.

yeah, havn't seen it (netflix doesnt have it), but I'm pretty sure everyone is 18 or over.

Even if they weren't, it think the laws of what "pornography is" is may not be what your opinion of pornography.

again, never saw it, but either way, I think they're all over 18

how do u know that? did you read it somewhere? is there an article or something you could link to? Now I'm curious if it was banned for being child porn and if so why wasn't anyone arrested?

You can buy them on the net like ebay most are censored and cut up. I got one from a friend....The film just has no distro in north america There was talk about the girl at the Toronto film fest. I also herd it the directors girlfriend....gross! I not sure about that one.

Believe Me Cheesesailor77, I know what Pornography is, and they crossed the line. I don't want to go into details, you have to see for yourself, guarantee your Jaw will drop.

how were you able to see it?

A friend of mine is this serious Indie Film collector, he said I had to see it. I think he got it off Ebay.

excuse me saying this, but I truly believe the worthiness of Ken Park as a movie is zero. It might however be interesting as psychiatrical study case (of its creators). It is NOT a pornography, because it lacks any sexual appeal that pornography has to have,- it's much sicker. I saw it. And regret of wasting time.

I have to agree with your quote, well said, at the same time I tried to look pass the sickness and actually saw a good storyline. Honestly if all that sick stuff wasn't in there maybe you would of liked it more. But it's your opinion. But this is a tough film to argue, because I don't want to defend it as a good movie, but it was interesting and that alone makes it worth seeing.

OK. Can you tell us why?

The movie had 4 different stories going on, each were like little short films of their own. It's hard to explain why I thought it was good, I guess mainly because it kept my interest.
