I need some help

I am making a film and it's in b&w but the client wants to see some red blood that's in the shot.

How do I keep everything in a shot black and white while showing the blood in the color red.

Please help or turn me on to an exsisting thread that will belp.

Thanks

Kip

the funny thing with me is that when I was color correcting a project recently, I was fooling around with the desaturate slider to make my video black and white but then I added a nested sequence to the timeline which wasn't affected by the desaturate slider so all that footage stayed in normal color as everything else was in blk and white. I did this by accident so I would have to look at that tutorial to learn how to do it the right way!

I hope you shot color! Other wise that's a big challenge to color the film. If you shot color and the blood is the only red things, that's a lot easer.

And if there are other reds you'll have to stack clips and crop them to isolate the red blood. If the blood is the only red, basically, no worries.
