Keep Spots away from my Lens

This weekend was the first weekend of filming for my feature film, I'm using the Anamorphic Adapter, before hand I clean the lens off real well but dust and spots gets on there as I continue, on certain scenes outside in the sun and even some indoor scenes with lights, some of the dust and spots appear on on the shots. It seems like glare from any light source brings out the dust and spots from the lens into the shot.

Is there something I can get that works with the Anamorphic Adapter to eliminate the spots and dust that are on the lens from light flare? Don't know much about Matte boxes and if that's what their use for.

Matteboxes is used to control lens flare on your lens. As for cleaning I use a small bubble brush or even a lipstick brush hat you can find in many camera stores.

Constant cleaning is a must. On my set the 1st AC dusts and inspects the lense after every take. There are several good cleaning solutions, just look on B&H site under photography, if it can clean a still lense it can clean a cinema lens.

I use the chamois, always with me when Im shooting. One hot breath on my lens, to fog the glass, and a couple of quick light swipes of the chamois and I'm done. I learned it long ago from another poster. works great! Genuine chamois leather I buy from the auto dealership/supplier. Aint cheap! But neither is my lens!

And I never run out of hot breath!
