Kata DVG-51 defects or fixed?

I read that when the DVG-51 first came out, it was cut wrong and wouldn't fit the hvx properly. Now it seems like the problem is fixed, but B&H has been back ordered on them for a while, and I don't trust any sellers who do have it available. Does anyone know if the batch from amazon.com are the old faulty ones or the new fixed ones? How about ebay seller stingrayelectronics (the only hit on ebay for kata dvg-51)?

My guess is that any inventory you would see from an eBay dealer would be the old stock which has been dumped. I would trust B&H more than amazon.com. Sit tight. I'll also post when I receive my replacement unit from Kata.

thanks for the info. Man I wish I could get one now, I really need it shooting in 50mph winds in the desert!
