Hi there,
Does anyone know of a relatively simple way to have subtitles rolling from right to left in sync with the dialogs ?
I'm planning a re-recording session next week and, for artistic reasons, I'd like the actors to dub themselves in an extensive way instead of on a sentence by sentence basis.
We have a machine we use here in France called "rhythmo" which is basicall a 35mm transparent film with the dialogs written on it rolling in sync with the movie — veeeery useful in a dubbing session, but unexplainably never used much outside of France.
Problem is : having someone writing down the dialogs on the rhythmo tape costs a lot and I can't afford it. That's why I came up with this idea of karaoke-like subtitle track in FCP.
I've heard of a karaoke plugin made by CGM, but it's bundled in a $180 package. Do you know of a standalone plugin that could do the trick ?
