KAI!! What's wrong with this expression?

if (t<0)(
value;
)else(
veloc = 18;
amplitude = 30;
decay = 4.0;
y = amplitude*Math.cos(veloc*t)/Math.exp(decay*t);
value + [x,0];
)

I think I stole it word for word, but I can't make it work. Giving me errors... needing ) or ; depending on how I fix it.
