K6 vs. K6P

So i'm looking to buy an Me66/k6 set up but i have a question. If i only plan on using it on my DVX, why spend more to get the K6 if you can just get the K6P. Any suggestives why i should go with one over the other. I would just be using this on my DVX.
 
Just in case you ever need or want to use it with a camera that doesn't have phantom power... that's the only reason. If you don't see that happening then you are right not to spend the extra dough...

btw - can you fix your location info in preferences so it doesn't take up half the screen. Lots of x's and o's in there...

Thanks, oh and on my computer my post dont look any different then anyone elses, i'll check into the x o but i dont remeber putting them in my location, wierd.
