Looking for a woman
i know it's totally random, but anyone here have a keurig coffee maker? i just bought one and i'm looking for some recommendations on brands to try.

Sorry, I don't have any info for you. I was expecting this to be a follow up to Pookie's "Boobies" thread... only bigger.

This is how I make my coffee.

EDIT: I should add that it probably takes me a good 30 minutes to make a cup if you include all the things that goes on around.
I mean like grinding the beans, cleaning the brewer, steaming the milk...

Still, you pick an orange and eat it, it tastes good.
You pick an orange, climb a mountain and eat it at the top, it tastes ****ing delicious.

If you like your coffee strong go for Tully's Italian Roast. Really good if you drink it black.

Another decent one is Green Mountain's Dark Magic.

You can buy them in bulk at places like Bed Bath and Beyond for much cheaper than in grocery stores.

They sell variety packs, but unless you drink a lot of tea, I'd skip them.

Personally, I buy the bags of Starbucks coffees because they last longer and taste better than most of the k-cups I've encountered. You can purchase a separate little coffee holder to use your own coffee and it's pretty cheap. Of course, not as quick and convenient as the k-cups.

Anyway, I really like that coffee maker.

This is what I do. That extra filter is about $14 bucks I believe. Then you can use whatever Gourmet coffee you want. We have some nice local places here that are always dry roasting their beans.

But, if you like the ease of the K-cups and the extra cost doesn't bother you, because you are a high roller like that, the Nantucket blend from Green Mountain is a good classic cup of coffee. They usually go for about $9.99 for a box of 18 ( I think most boxes of K-cup flavors do) unless you buy in super bulk on Amazon. Every now and again, the Super market will sell them at $5.00 bucks a box which is when we stock up. But usually, we use our own coffee.

My faves are Timothy's Italian Blend and Van Houtte Decaf Dark. Not sure if they're available down there, but you can probably order them online if you wanna try them out.
