[JVC LS300] How to convert files for final cut pro

Hi Guys

in these days i'm testing the new JVC LS300.
The struggle is to find a way to convert the files (the 1080 25p 422 50mb/s)
in prores or xdcam to edit in final cut pro (not X).
For now, only the avchd files can "seen" by FCP.

Mpeg streamclip doesn't work with 422 50mbs files...

Mpeg streamclip doesn't hold XAVC: too old. If you don't want to use Resolve, you can try an utility like this http://www.idealshare.net/xavc-converter.html

Mpeg streamclip doesn't handle even the 50p avchd...
Without edius or premiere it's impossible to edit this files!

In fact the 422 50Mbps files from the LS300 are not read by DaVinci, nor indeed Quicktime, only FCP X

To the OP - if you did by any chance have access to FCP X too, you can use it to make you ProRes files, and use those to edit in FCP (by locating the folder and copying them over to a different location).
