JVC demos 4K S35 cameras

The body's there but it hasn't got the brains. The sensor in all cameras is the recently announced AL41410C, S35 and 4512x3008 but rolling shutter and only 64 dB (10.5 stops). The Micro Four Thirds mount is surprising but works: You can adapt it to Nikon F or Canon EF and cover the whole frame, or you can just use a Four Thirds lens, which doesn't cover the full sensor but according to JVC covers about 4K:

According to Adam Wilt, right now it's merely balsaware.

this looks VERY interesting as a sort of "AF200". Love that it can shoot an S35 sensor with M43 glass, or be adapted! Slick.

Lots of questions still: ND Filters? HFR? Image Mojo? Etc.

But I like the very little I see so far!
