Just spent some more MONEY!

No, you don't NEED it, but it would be nice to have.

It just makes you have a nice picture, (Shallower depth of field)

and it gives you more of a movie look.

Id say get some lights first, and a good tripod, cause you got everything else.

Well, I already have a Manfrotto Pro Series and a 501 Head.

So, tripod = check.

I also have a VX2100 and a full XLR system for that, etc, etc, for night shots and secondary angles. So, check.

I have a big budget for things that I can tell my CEO that I HAVE to have. She will give me her AMX card on any of that for legitimate purchases for items I know I need.

So, those things I listed, those are all common, pretty easy things to need and use. I will continue to learn, listen and upgrade my gear as time go's on.

But I dont have this camera to make money guys, my check is already in the mail, so that does not matter to me. I have this camera to make a great piece for my company and increase revenue by means of advertising. :)

Get the Anamorphic...

Get the Anamorphic...

Yeah, that anamorphic lens adapter... It's the only 16x9 solution that doesn't steal vertical from your 4:3 space, in fact it gives you extra wide with the same vertical height... although the DVX book and everything I read indicate it presents some OTHER issues, such as difficulty focusing. But it would be MY next pick for my own needs. (Got the lights and mic and tripod too... a Steadicam Merlin... and some Video and Sound FX from Digital Juice, and all the Adobe stuff... even a green screen)

Gee I might just talk myself into another purchase before the tax year ends...

(Now I'd better start producing something from all this... :)

My 1500 case is a little tight... but very nice.

Still waiting on my other crap. WHERE IS MY BATTERY!?!?

neutrik Xlr cables is what i use on my set up, they are "no Noise" cables, very High quality, though they are one of the most expensive Xlr cables available. They will last you a lifetime though!

Jon

Neutrik doesn't manufacture cables. They make connectors. What you are seeing is their name on the connector. Neutrik is the connector on the cable. The cables could be made by anybody. There are many cable manufacturers that use Neutrik connectors such as Canare, PST, Hosa, etc..
