Hello everyone,

I have been lurking around this forum for the past few months, and I finally decided to take the plunge and purchase a DVX100A today. It is totally amazing, and I can't wait to start shooting some films with it. I just wanted to thank all of you for sharing your knowledge and experiences with the camera, as well as leading me to EVS, where I purchased the camera today. Rush, you're the man! If not for this forum, I would have surely fallen for those infamous internet scams, and gotten a grey market camera. So thanks again EVERYONE at DVXUSER!!

Now...off to shoot some movies!!

way to go man.. welcome to the club.

Now get out there and shoot some zombies and win some parts for that baby!

I took it out yesterday evening to the canyon and got some interesting footage, and I'm going to take it out today and see what else grabs my attention, so I'll definitely have a lot to share very soon. I'm on vacation this week, so I'll have plenty of time to break it in! Thanks again guys!!

Indeed. I did some test footage with my friend about a week ago, and I told him to start improvising stuff for a short film I'm gonna do with him when he comes back from Germany. I refused to do it, but I just filmed him anyway. When he watched the footage, he said he regretted not improvising stuff because he thought the footage would look crappy.

But man, it took me about a week of messing with the scene file settings to find the sweet spot for my image.

Thanks Joshua!

I appreciate your business sir. I hope you the best of luck in your shoots, and I know the DVX will make you as happy as it has made all of us! :)
