I was after a shoulder rig that was quick to use and solid, more like a traditional shoulder mount cam (no springs, etc). The DVrigPro is a great rig, just didn't fit my needs this time around (overseas run & gun).
The pics are poor, I took them with my cell phone...
Kai,
Very cool setup! I'm still working on all the accessories so I can look as cool! Man some of the setups I've seen on here make me feel like an amature! Very impressive!
so how do you like it during long shoots? how is the balancing of the shoulder mount considering how front heavy the dvx gets w/ the follow focus? thanks.
The eyepiece chamois is from Filmtools.com About 6 bucks or so (US). Great to have on there and oh so soft.
Boo- Haven't really had a chance to use it on a long shoot yet, first time will be on this round-the-world run & gun trip i'm taking this Friday. I'll post my results with the thing. The balancing is obviously pretty front heavy. I really got it to provide more stability because the camera loaded with all the accessories is too heavy to hold by just the handstrap ha. It's really pretty stable and should work out pretty well.
Kai- did you have to glue your chamois onto the eye piece like jarred did? I'm interested in getting one, but glue/ liquid cement makes me nervous. :-/

What the hell? How? Mine was a pain to get on? What size did you get?
